The biggest need of the modern Christian church is a trained, motivated, and educated leadership that equips the people in the churches. From 1960 to 1980, the evangelical church grew from 25 million to 715 million, a 28-fold increase. This massive growth resulted in many churches having untrained pastors and leaders. By 2000 there were 2,000,000 third-world pastors, but less than 5% (100,000) had any Bible training.
